Sales is the engine that keeps a business moving forward. Sales starts with a healthy pipeline of opportunities, but that pipeline has to be continuously worked

 

An outstanding hit rate requires understanding what it will take to win every opportunity, assessing and filling the gaps, and putting a strategy and team in place to make the win inevitable. 

 

I’ve led sales organizations, and I’ve been in the trenches leading major pursuits that have resulted in billions of dollars of revenue for large firms. It’s not only my knowledge of the industry and the sales process, but my critical thinking, creativity, team building and listening skills that firms benefit from when we’re working together on high priority sales opportunities.

PURSUIT LEADERSHIP & COACHING

My win strategy and implementation consulting is “all-in.” I’ll be a partner to the pursuit team starting early in the process, and will facilitate such aspects as competitive analyses, teaming assessment, staff skills gaps, and government relations strategy.

My strength in writing, communication and design makes me a good asset to support strategy and editorial reviews, and my decades of experience coaching in public speaking and interview preparation mean I can continue the engagement through the full lifecycle of the procurement.

TRAINING, COACHING & MENTORING

I’m interested in building long-term success for my clients, and leaving an organization a  better place than I found it. That’s why knowledge transfer is at the heart of my consulting philosophy. In my engagements, I am an open book in the thought process I take for strategy development.

For a deeper dive into the “how,” I offer two training courses, each with multiple modules: “Client Engagement: Relationship Building for Life,” and “Planning the Win: Pursuit Planning and Win Strategy.”

I also offer one-on-one public speaking and interview coaching for project managers and executives, and career mentoring for those interested in a business leadership path.
